The picture is that of an island off India which is now largely under the water because of the rapidly rising seal level. It may not be Singapore but in 2030 or a little later  it could be just it. Not looking to good isn’t it. Aye I agree. Hopefully by that time either Malaysia or Indonesia willing to set a piece of their land somewhere to hold Singaporean refugees. Atrocities are usually committed against the weaker party, the reason is simple that weaker party is not expected to be able to retaliate proportionally to the atrocities committed against them. In simple words weaker party is defenseless. Atrocities are also easily committed when there are segregation that differentiates between people. Beforehand I already mentioned weaker party and that is one general segregation. In practice this segregation is usually based on race or skin color, religious belief, gender, political belief, statehood and basically anything that men can make up to create an impression of being different.

The reason is simple. When you differentiate people or a group of people you can then start to dehumanize them, in effect diminishing the resistance of your own group to commit atrocities by desensitizing them(making them less empathic or less sympathetic) of the other. This is done by highlighting the difference and disseminating false information to broaden the gap of empathy. Lies is what ordinary people call it or propaganda to those familiar with it.

Now there’s a general acceptance that religious people are usually good people. The reason is simply because religious people profess to honor a God which they claim or to be exact their scriptures claim to be holy(without fault/sin). Thus the aspirations of religious people is to be holy(good) as the God whom they claim to worship. Now, there’s one thing people forget that genuine religious beliefs are based on faith(read belief) and no one can really measure anyone’s faith or whether it is pure or otherwise. What I am saying is one can be religious yet devoid of FAITH. This is possible since being religious is different than being spiritual. The first may not include the latter and the latter may not include the first. Hence I am saying it is possible to be religious yet an atheist in its core. On the other hand I cannot say that one can be spiritual while being an atheist because such person will simply be misguided and never be a spiritual person though one may think of himself  just about anything or the contrary.

So yes atrocities can be done in the name of religion or God but it doesn’t mean it is an ACT of GOD or in accordance to the teaching. Now what most atheists never mention is that the atrocities committed by atheists(openly atheists or otherwise) are far more severe and greater in number. Perhaps I’m not being exactly accurate here as what I am saying is basically all atrocities are done by atheists despite whatever differentiation that they used(religion, race, political belief, etc).

Thus the world has seen a religious murderer, an irreligious murderer, a religious rapist or an irreligious rapist. Thus Lee Kuan Yew can convince MANY religious people to support whatever his pursuits despite them being a clear violation to ethic, moral and law(both human and God). of course it goes without saying that such a religious people CANNOT POSSIBLY honor God nor can they be honored by God and HAVE NO CHANCE to know God. But I guess many people are being religious for MANY other reasons THAN ETERNAL SALVATION. What is clear is no one can live their lives with the thought of them as evil people. That is simply not possible because the burden of conscience lays heavily on people. Thus people like Lee Kuan Yew are going to make excuses to justify their atrocities or their excesses. They will even for the most part blame the victims themselves. They will victimize their victims again and again because their conscience doesn’t tolerate duality. In other words these people, these atheists will try to fool themselves and coerce their victims until the picture is one that conforms to whatever twisted reasoning that these people may have made up in place of their guilt and remorse. It’s like if you lie often and long enough you can expect to start believing it yourselves in time. Talk about crazy people huh. In some parts of the world that is how they write history. Unwise and even NUTS! And I wouldn’t be surprised that is how they write it too in Singapore.

Darkseid, an accurate picture of Lee Kuan Yew alter ego

A force to be reckoned with, Darkseid(read darkside) rules his fascist empire with an iron fist, forcing his impoverished masses to labor ceaselessly in the construction of enormous edifices in his honor. However, he believes that his ultimate goal can only be achieved through the solving of the Anti-Life Equation, a mathematical equation that, when solved, will grant him absolute control over the free will of every being in the universe. All those underneath his heel know that Darkseid is power. Darkseid is unforgiving. Darkseid IS.

If you think Lee Kuan Yew is not that bad you DO NOT KNOW Lee Kuan Yew or the regime he has built. For a ruler of a mere single city Lee Kuan Yew certainly thinks himself much more than that. Much much more. He expects not only admiration or even adulation but nothing short of worship. He too would prefer the subjugation of free will both of his people and the foreign people in his city state. Egoistical wise Harry Lee doesn’t come short to Darkseid, his arrogance included. Of course only replace Darkseid’s Omega beam with a mountain of money to buy everybody needed buying and to destroy anybody he deemed needed to be destroyed. Another resemblance that should be mentioned is that Lee Kuan Yew like Darkseid is able to influence(read: to corrupt) almost everyone he wishes to the point of making the person the exact opposite of what they were. Perhaps the more accurate word here is brainwash. Harry Lee here is able to turn your own closest family members against you, not to mention friends or acquaintances. Basically anybody lacking STRONG principle.  If you think that is cool wait until you become one of his victim . . . .Darkseid is cool because he is a comic character while Lee Kuan Yew is just plain ugly. Harry Lee is an ugly man, even more on the inside.

On top of that I don’t see his son, the current Prime Minister to be much different than his father, believing in the reign of fear and very much as arrogant if not more arrogant than his old father. The only thing that the Lees are going to respect is POWER. The power to crush them to be exact. And to the people who have them they nod and bow and say nice things to them, at least in their face, being typical of people without principle. They’ll lick whoever bottom they need to lick, manipulate whoever person willing to be, crush whoever person without the means to defend himself and befriend whoever people they could use to further their means. For a ruler of a mere city they certainly carry themselves like the kings of the universe. I guess somebody forgot to remind them the proper perspective. Then again who dare among their own circles. Their minions may have thought of these people lions but make no mistake they are NOT, not even in the slightest. They are the wolves who prey and gang up on the weak. Wolves who keep at bay as long as the real Lions are around to keep a check on them. Like I said they respect power, even fear them. In a way being wolves have served them well. The Lions are usually the first to die after all. Take Saddam Hussein for example. Now he was a real Lion especially then in the Arab world. And he had the means too not just the ego. And we all know what happened to him in the end. At least we can credit him for being a Lion instead a wolf.

Couple years back one Indonesian bright student was killed outright and the case was covered up. If it wasn’t for the independent press of my country or the fight of the late student family this event too would have gone unnoticed and the cover up would seem perfect.

Now I do not know whether this regime do this on regular basis against their OWN citizen which I don’t see why they wouldn’t. I do not know too if they are still killing innocent people seemingly out of whimsical mood swing or whatever ridiculous reasons they conjured up as justifications. What I do know is that this regime is still controlled by the very same group of people and it is run WITHOUT ACCOUNTABILITY. This undoubtedly makes this regime as dangerous as it can be. People who cannot govern themselves SHOULD NEVER be given power to govern any other people let alone the whole nation.

People when lacking control and checks and balance will, over time become excessive, arrogant and overbearing. And I believe this is plaguing the Singapore regime. The fact is Lee Kuan Yew or his family or cronies do not own anybody who chooses to live as a free and decent human being. They can believe whatever they want to believe but if they try to put that into action it just will not work against determined people. I have lived my life proving that Lee Kuan Yew or his regime is nothing to be feared of. Mr. Chee Soon Juan too has learned this as well as people like Gopalan Nair. I’m not afraid of Lee Kuan Yew or his regime. I may be killed but then I do not fear death. I’m not afraid of life. I have seen some incredible things in my struggle because I refuse to kow-tow to this despot. Great things which makes me able to say that all what Lee Kuan Yew is doesn’t impress nor intimidate me any longer. Mr. Lee you’re a pathetic human being and only stupid people will fear you or your regime.

The interesting thing is this regime has an obsession of wearing white or expensive white material to be exact. Wearing white defines a person of being a dreamer. Perhaps the regime is obsessed with being seen as good people. The irony is even their assassin takes pride from wearing white despite the fact that his work is taking the life of other people and doing that outside the law and worse outside justice while thoroughly enjoying every killing like it was a hobby. A man, addicted to murder, taking pride in his ‘duty’ by wearing white…That pretty much too, sums up the elite who run Singapore.

What Singapore is famous for?

Lately its Formula 1 race event and its grand casino. But Bahrain and Monaco have come up first with their Formula 1 participation and Singapore is merely tailing and following them. Now the world is aware that Bahrainis are disaffected people. Their creativity didn’t help them a lasting reputation on the world map. Furthermore Macau is probably the bigger and better place to gamble your money away in Asia. How about tourism you might say. How about it when Thailand and Bali are far more interesting place to visit.

During my time studying there it was obvious that the Singapore government was trying big to cash in on the electronic industry and then on bio-mechanical and then on chemical industry. What have come of them? Today Singapore is not known for any either of them.

If there’s one thing that Singapore is kind of famous for is its health tourism but even this doesn’t necessarily credit Singapore health care rather it speaks of the bad health care system in her neighboring countries like Indonesia, Philippine and or Vietnam and Myanmar.

At the moment the number of disaffected Singaporeans are growing with the salvation to the elite being that they allow the new immigrants rights to vote to counter the native Singaporean population who are growing disillusioned with how their elite are running the country. The strategy of fear has ultimately backfired on its perpetrators. But always scheming, the elite now find themselves in a threatened situation and the possibility of losing a future election. To this I sincerely share Gopalan Nair view that the PAP is going to install their own men and women into opposition parties to produce manchurian candidates and solve the threat of increasing opposition seats in the short term. The only way that Singapore is going to have a change is by having the PAP losing by a landslide. Of course there’s a prerequisite to that that the election must be fair. Of course that’s like hoping the moon to land as Singapore has never been known as a democratic state.

All in all Singapore is stuck in reverse gear. It will not be anything great. Greatness doesn’t make fearfulness its home. Touting creativity? It seems more like desperation in reality.

Thus the idea of liberty and rights will always be a struggle. A perpetual dynamic struggle of ideas in the people’s mind and then in their practical day to day life.

It can be robbed, destroyed, denied or protected and ensured.
It’s all up to the people consent whether they want to abdicate those rights and social contracts or they want to demand them to be held up.

In other words, constitution, rule of law, and rights all fall under the category of political ideas. They are intangible and not real. Of course they are the product of enlightened minds but they can be appreciated only by other enlightened minds as well. And that is a big ifs, generation in and generation out.

And this is what’s happening in Singapore along with many other places. Their citizens are denied fairness in court ruling, the constitution is blatantly violated for all to see, the laws are perverted to serve the ruling elite and rights is an unappreciated alien idea.

To be fair the people who let themselves to be deprived of their rights and liberties deserve neither. That the people who are cowed into fearfulness deserve a life of servitude and zombie like existence. I’d rather die. The Bahrainis agree with me, The Libyans agree with me, the Egyptians agree with me, the Syrians agree with me. But it is true that Singapore is unique. So unique that they deem evil good and vice versa, so unique that they have forgotten how to live so that a few elite can live their wildest dream in Singapore on Singaporeans expenses and at their expense. If that is not slavery I do not know what else it is.

Just today I read from another local Yahoo news that that particular Islamist fundamentalist group has been financed by our ex chief of National Police, now the head of state intelligence and the intelligence body themselves. It came as no surprise to most people here as it is already a public secret that this group is financed by officials to act as the wikileaks cable termed an attack dog.

Now my ordeal in Singapore in 2002 and years of persecution and discrimination of my academic pursuit and the attitude of my mother with her past display of animosity and now who is largely a timid person concerning all topic related to my ordeal and persecution, all those things undoubtedly point that my own state apparatus condoned and supported of what happened to me by neglect and then assisted in my years of persecution that has taken its toll on my health and future. My mother wouldn’t become an apostate by committing false swearing more than once and displayed much unwarranted animosity towards me without some local pressure or threat on her. Her treatment of me has improved since but the attitude remains whenever I brought the topic of my ordeal and persecution, much of it usually results in either heated argument or complete ignorance from her part.

My suspicion of ‘local assist’ also grew from couple occasions: the animosity displayed against me from people I hardly knew be it neighbors, church members and local lecturers, some right away most others in time. There were also couple street incidents, unwarranted, where I could clearly see an attempt of intimidation. In fact the last was couple weeks ago where a guy in a motorcycle banged our taxi real hard with his hand for no apparent reason and gave me ‘that look’ when I looked upon him from the front.

All I am saying is none that I’ve endured could have been possible without the support of local politicians and perhaps even apparatus. Here in Indonesia money grants you respect even if you’re a foreigner or make that especially if you’re a foreigner with lots of money to spare.

It is true that crime is severely punished in Singapore but on the condition that the suspect is not a politically connected figure. It is in the same way as the Indonesian judiciary system punishes the poor severely for having stolen some vegetables or a few fruits while giving just a slap on the wrist to murder suspects.

What I am trying to say in this post is that even though Singapore is gaining a reputation as an undemocratic state, the truth is still far from the understanding of the common people who still view it as a nation strictly adhering to rule of law. Would a fair and impartial judiciary system punish author for publishing facts? Would a fair and impartial judiciary system protect murderers?(as in the case of the late David Widjaja). It’s all crooks in Singapore, a state without democracy nor rule of law but one which is based on institutionalized gang-rule in reverence to Lee Kuan Yew dynasty and their cronies.
